These prices are effective as of January 1, 2008, but are subject to change without notice.

In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission, we are required to provide you with this General Price List. The goods and services shown below are those we can offer to our clients. You may choose only those items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean that you must buy any items you did not specifically request, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services selected.

BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF - $1545.00
Our fee for the basic services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, the following: staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; consultation with family and clergy; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and consents; coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.)

EMBALMING - $450.00
Except in certain special cases (see requirements of Michigan law below), embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary if you select certain funeral arrangements such as a funeral with viewing or visitation. Most common carriers also require embalming. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or burial.
Michigan law requires embalming when death was caused by certain in-fectious diseases or, with limited exceptions, when the body is not taken to its final destination within 48 hours of the time of death.

OTHER PREPARATION OF THE BODY - $200.00
Including, when necessary, such items as cosmetology, hair care, special care of autopsied remains, restoration, and dressing the remains or washing and disinfection when no embalming is desired.

USE OF FACILITIES AND STAFF FOR VIEWING - $500.00
(per day or portion thereof, at the funeral home or other location)

USE OF FACILITIES AND STAFF FOR FUNERAL/MEMORIAL SERVICE - $500.00
(at funeral home or removal to church for services, if desired.)

USE OF EQUIPMENT AND STAFF FOR GRAVESIDE /COMMITTAL - $200.00

AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT
Transfer of remains to funeral home (30 miles) - $195.00
Hearse to local cemetery/crematory - $185.00
Transportation beyond 30 miles is at the rate of $1.50 per mile

STORAGE AND/OR REFRIGERATION (PER DAY) - $ 50.00

FORWARDING OF REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME - $1,790.00
This charge includes removal of remains, basic services of staff, embalming, receptacle for body, necessary authorizations. It does not include the services of staff or use of facilities for any visitation or rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body. *Plus transportation to airport at $1.50 per mile.

RECEIVING OF REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME - $1,480.00
This charge includes temporary shelter of remains, transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory and basic services of staff. It does not include the services of staff or the use of facilities for viewing or for funeral rites/ceremonies at the funeral home. *Plus transportation from airport $1.50 per mile.

IMMEDIATE BURIALS - $1,725.00
Our charge for an immediate burial without any attendant rites or ceremonies. Includes: Removal (within 30 miles) and shelter of remains. Local (within 30 miles) transportation to cemetery. The cost of transportation beyond a radius of 30 miles in funeral home vehicles is $1.50 per mile. Necessary basic services of funeral director and staff and obtaining authorizations (Our charges do not include the use of facilities or staff or any viewing, visitation or ceremony, public or private, the actual cost of the grave at the cemetery, the cemetery's charges for the opening and closing of the grave, the preparation of the grave site, or any other goods or services except those expressly set out above.)

                Our charge for an immediate cremation without any attendant rites or ceremonies includes:

                *  Necessary basic services of funeral director and staff and obtaining

                * Medical Examiner’s charge to authorize cremation.

                You are not required to purchase a casket for direct cremation, but you may do so if you

wish.  If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container.  

 Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or

composition materials (with or without an outside covering).  The containers we provide

are Frediani Corrugated 450#.

DIRECT CREMATION WITH CASKET SELECTION FROM OUR FUNERAL HOME (in addition to cost of casket) - $2,340.00

PLEASE NOTE: Cemeteries or crematories may have certain restrictions concerning the type of burial or cremation container they will accept, may require the use of an outer burial container, and may have other rules, regulations, and restrictions which may limit your choices or require you to purchase certain goods or services. We have no control over the policies of cemeteries/crematories. We will, however, advise you of the policies of cemeteries/crematories, and whether your choices of funeral goods and services are compatible with your choice of cemetery/crematory. This list does not include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you, such as cemetery or crematory services, flowers and marker engravings. The prices for these items will be shown on your bill or the statement describing goods and services you selected.
CHARGES FOR OBITUARY NOTICES WILL BE ADDED WHERE APPLICABLE.
6% Michigan Sales Tax will be added to all merchandise furnished.
Terms: NET 30 DAYS 9½% interest per year added to unpaid balance after 30 days.
